| Abstract | The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into anesthetic drug administration represents a significant advancement in modern health care, offering enhanced precision, safety, and efficiency compared with traditional methods. This article reviews the insights gained from studies of AI systems, such as McSleepy and ENDOANGEL, highlighting the potential benefits and limitations of these technologies in clinical practice. The article compares traditional and AI-assisted anesthetic practices, showcasing how AI can improve decision-making, dosing accuracy, and real-time monitoring. Future directions for AI in anesthesiology include the development of advanced monitoring systems, optimized drug combinations, and fully autonomous anesthesia delivery systems. |
