About Us

The Weill Cornell Medicine Center for Virtual Care (CVC) was formed in 2019 with a charge to transform healthcare delivery through innovation, technology, and collaboration. The Mission of the CVC is to facilitate the development and adoption of technology and virtual tools that improve both care quality and healthcare access. We do this by developing, evaluating, and teaching new models of care that combine digital tools, virtual care, and artificial intelligence.

The CVC is a multidisciplinary team well positioned within the Cornell ecosystem to be a bridge between clinical care, training, clinically focused research, and product development. Our work falls into four overlapping areas: education, innovation, research, and patient care.
